The property is in a quiet residential area so is ideal for couples and families looking for a relaxing break.
 
Bed linen and towels will be provided but you must bring your own beach towels.  There is a no smoking policy in this property and no pets, smoking is only permitted outside.
 
The community is well serviced with a 5 minutes walk to a commercial centre which incorporates a large Mercadona supermarket for all of your self catering/BBQ needs or if you prefer to let someone else do the cooking then there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the same location as well as a bank, newsagents, internet mailroom and hairdresser. Should you want something a bit more lively you can head into Torrevieja town which comes alive in the evening with over 300 restaurants and bars, a lovely promenade for an evening stroll, a bustling marina, and a night market and funfair. There is a reliable bus service that takes 15 minutes to get into town with the bus stop only 1 block away or radio taxis are readily available.
 
For the sun-worshiper, you may be interested to know that we boast an average temperature of 20C and 340 days of sunshine which is ideal when we are only a 20 minutes stroll (1.5km) from La Mata's golden sandy beach. Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor and Guadamar beaches are also easily accessible where a range of water sports can be found. Alternatively, you could just relax by the communal pool inside the landscaped and gated private gardens just yards from the property.
 
The area boasts a large Aquapark 5 minutes drive away or a smaller one at Quesada approximately 15 minutes away. There are a number of theme parks near Benidorm which is a 60 minute drive, buses run regularly from Torrevieja town or you can join an organised day excursion.
 
Zenia Boulevard shopping centre, 20 minutes away, is one of the largest in Europe with 100’s of shops, restaurants, bars and bowling alley. Las Habaneras shopping centre is just a 5 minute drive away, it’s a 3 story open air shopping centre with big name retailers and restaurants. The Ozone entertainment complex is just across the road, with a casino, cinema, ten pin bowling, arcade games and restaurants. There are 2 local weekly markets in La Mata and Torrevieja which have hundreds of stalls and stretch over numerous streets but you can generally find a market somewhere in the vicinity every day of the week.
 
If golf is your passion you will be delighted to learn that there are a number of championship courses within each reach of the property at La Finca, Algorfa, Villamartin, Real Club Campoamor and Las Rambles.
 
Our property managers will be on hand from the minute you arrive until you depart and can arrange pickups from the airport (€50 each way) if you prefer not to drive, however, to totally appreciate the whole area you may wish to consider hiring a car or a bicycle, both of which we can help you with.   Please ask if there is anything we can do to make your holiday go smoothly.
 
Alicante airport is approximately 30 minutes drive and is well serviced all year round by regular low cost airlines from most airports in the UK so it couldn't be easier to get to and at a reasonable price.
 
We would like to ensure that your holiday is enjoyable and hassle free but this is a "go it alone" deal and one where you do not have the benefit of travel rep on site. Our property managers will be on hand for emergency situations but do not provide a taxi service whilst in situ. We provide a folder with detailed information about the area and property but do not provide a concierge service.
 
Our tariff starts at £50 per night (not per person per night) and this is inclusive of utilities.  A deposit of 30% is payable immediately to secure the booking, with full payment being due 4 weeks prior to arrival.
 
If making your own way to the property you would be met by a member of our property management team and there will be a meet and greet fee applicable, this is not payable if our agent is picking you up from the airport.  
 
There is a 60€ charge for the housekeeping services, payable on arrival to a member of our property management team.  Please see our list of chargeable optional extras for anything else that you may need.

Hello there, I am one of the owners of Casa Capricorn. This is a family run venture with myself, my husband Ian, my sister Pauline and mother Pat all involved in operations in the UK whilst our fabulous property management team headed up by Paul and his wife Svetlana look after things in Spain for us. We are all dedicated to making sure that you enjoy your stay at our home in the sun. Our children are considerably older than when this photo was taken but they still love coming to their Spanish home.
